Bayville, New York (Long Island)

Swami Narayan Tirtha has also given his blessings to his disciple, Swami Sada Shiva Tirtha, to open this ashram in America.

Swami Sada Shiva Tirtha:
Founder, Swami Narayan Tirtha Math

The ashram was founded in 1989 and is named after the Guruji.

The ashram is located in Bayville NY, USA. It is a traditional ashram offering free spiritual guidance to all who ask. The ashram is a small, nonresidential facility. There are no scheduled events or meetings; when people need to come or ask questions, they do so. It is a personally-based approach to spirituality—people come if and when they have personal questions or issues. The ashram is a nonprofit tax-exempt organization under the 509(a)(1) and 501(c)(3) IRS code.

Our philosophy is based in Hindu non-dualistic Vedanta, but we receive people from all faiths and beliefs. Two books have been written by the founder's grandfather guru, Swami Shankar Purushottam Tirtha;  Yoga Bani: Instructions for the Attainment of Siddha Yoga & Guru Bani: 100 Ways To Attain Peace . Basically, Yoga Bani discusses experiences during sadhana (meditation) while Guru Vani are short talks on how to live a spiritual life outside of sadhana.
